Application:

Suitable for DB9 port signal line lightning protection

It is used for lightning protection of RS232 communication, effectively reducing hardware and software failures caused by pulse interference, especially for high precision equipment equipped with microcomputer.

Installation and Maintenance:

Installed in series between the protected equipment and the antenna channel.

The input end of the lightning protection device is connected with the signal line, and the output end is connected with the protected equipment, which can not be connected in reverse.

During installation, the lines at both ends must be laid separately and cannot be tied together to prevent secondary induction.

Connect the grounding cable of the SPD to the grounding bar of the lightning protection system. The grounding cable should be short, thick, and straight to shorten the lightning current path as much as possible.

After installation and wiring, check that the wiring is correct and firm, then switch on the power supply and put into use
